[AReU] Field Day Results

As you may have noticed the BARS Field Day Results are not listed in the 
ARRL standings. 

I noticed this last night when I got around to looking at the standings. I 
couldn't fine K4TN anywhere!!!

I called Dan Henderson at ARRL today and inquired as to the disposition 
of the BARS Field Day report. It seems that the mail room at ARRL 
sent all of the incoming mail back out on the day that the BARS 
Field Day report arrived. By the same token, all of the out going mail 
was routed back in to the senders. Alas, I'm afraid the original BARS 
Field Day report is lost forever according to Dan. 

I was not aware of the posting of the Field Day applicants approximately 
6 weeks ago on the ARRL web site even though I visit the site several 
times a week. There was no special notice on the site that a number of 
Field Day applications were lost. 

I have received a summary sheet this evening from Dan by E-Mail. 
I will complete this sheet and return it to him immediately. 

We will not be listed in QST but our Field Day results will be posted 
on the ARRL site. 

The point standing for BARS was 4616 which would put us no. 3 in 
the overall WCF section. It would put us no. 2 in the WCF section in the 
2A category. 

I am a little "ticked" at the ARRL FUBAR but what's the use!!!
What's done is done and that's that!!!

At least everyone had a good time and good eating at Field Day and 
we will probably have at least as good a time next year during the last 
full weekend in June.
