[Ares-races] GMRS licensee on AR freqs?

There are no provisions in the GMRS rules that allow operation
in the amateur bands.  Additionally, GMRS rules are specific as
to the types of radios that can be used there - go to the FCC
web page and pull them up.  They are under Part 95, Personal
Radio Services.

Also, the VX-5 is not "type accepted" and not authorized for use
outside the amateur bands with the exception of MARS and CAP
frequencies.
