Dave,

Epson obsoleted all their through-hole oscillators a couple of months 
ago, but there is still one substitute that is compatible. Made by ECS, 
they're in an 8 pin DIP half-size metal can package.   A bit more 
expensive, but you can order them the same way from DigiKey and they 
will program them to your frequency between 1 and 150 MHz.

Do a search for "through hole" and you'll find the same story for many
