The 24 volt transformer for the filaments will also work great with a
voltage quadrupler for B+.  I simply re-use four of the 200 volt
electrolytics recycled from a pair of computer power supplies.  The four
diodes are cheap 1N4007.  It's a very simple circuit and takes less space
than a dynamotor.  Wrote about it and other means of powering Command
receivers in the January 2021 issue of *The Spectrum Monitor.*
