[ARC5] [OT] Ground-to-parachute comms. Was Talking to Airplanes From the Ground

Hi Hue - I dunno but probably with an alligator clip or similar.  You would
not want anything like that to foul the parachute systems so something
simple/break away would make sense.
I have little doubt that touching a BC-611 antenna to something like a
flagpole (or a "long wire") would extend the range, impedance mismatch
notwithstanding.  That tiny 0.012 wavelength whip has nearly 0% radiation
efficiency on 3885 kc !
