[ARC5] Talking to Airplanes From the Ground

Well, by "instance" I meant circumstances rather than a single case. The BC-611 was used multiple times for the ground rescue personnel to talk to the aircraft providing rescue support, usually C-47's. For example they dropped one guy in and he discovered that the airman who had come down in the area needed major medical assistance. So when the C-47 came back the next day he relayed this information and the following day they dropped an entire medical team along with its supplies.
It was not unusual for the Bc-611 to not survive the jump or the overland trip to get back, so they would drop more than one of them.
