[ARC5] BC-348R - fair price?

Maybe 30 years ago I bought a BC-224-C from a guy in Texas who was mostly a Collins dealer / collector.
He had an ad in E.R. mag. ( Does E.R. go back that far? my date might be off. )  He said, yes, it's in good
condition. When I received it, I thought it looked like it had been stored under a back porch for years.
Mud outside and in. It's still 'unrestored' and altho I decided rather than one hell of a job to restore it,
I was thinking of parting it out, but maybe I'll rethink that. The attraction to me, why I bought one by
mail order, was that it was one of the fewer models with no LF band.
Good condition, right…..But not using the "Collins collectors quality rating", that's for sure.
