Hello all.

I need to match the 4K audio output of my BC-348-R receiver to a standard 8
ohm head set.

I have a Stancor A-8102 70.7V line matching transformer on hand.

The catalog shows the 8102 can handle 625, 1250, 2500, 5000 and 10000 ohms
primary impedance
and provide secondary impedances of 4, 8, or 16 ohms.

The power options are 8,4,2,1 and 0.5 W.

So... the impedance of the various wattage taps is computed by

Z = E**2 / Pwr where E = 5000

So my closest match would be the 1W tap (5000 = 5000 / 1).

Is this correct? Hate to zorch something.....

My other option would be to use the Lo-Z output on the BC-348-R (300 ohms)
and pump that into my existing 600 ohms to 8 ohm box.
