I still have the WAP-25 power supply I built in 1953. My mother pitched what I left stored out of sight in the attic after I went into the US Air Force
I do have copies of the two magazines that covered the equipment. At one time not too long ago I still had my original build sheets but they may have disappeared in the tornado that got us in 1999.

You know that by now, the Walter Ashe, very simple radio equipment is very collectible ?
I have a couple articles from Radio News on them, and found a chassis of the right size for the receiver. Now to find one more and a different sized one for the PS. If I recall, rec and trans are 7 x 5 x 3 and
the PS, 7 x 5 x 2 inches.
Truthfully, I was surprised by your comment. Not that I doubt it; just surprised.

The 6SN7GT dual triode (regen detect + audio amp) of the Walter Ashe Novice station used 150 VDC regulated. I found that little receiver to be MUCH better than the S-38 I borrowed when the 6SN7GT went dead and I didn't have the money to buy a replacement tube back in 1954.
