Can you tell us what magazines those were? Maybe they're archived online & we can access them easily. We just need to know where to start looking. :-)

I still have the WAP-25 power supply I built in 1953. My mother pitched what I left stored out of sight in the attic after I went into the US Air Force
I do have copies of the two magazines that covered the equipment. At one time not too long ago I still had my original build sheets but they may have disappeared in the tornado that got us in 1999.

I have a couple articles from Radio News on them, and found a chassis of the right size for the receiver. Now to find one more and a different sized one for the PS. If I recall, rec and trans are 7 x 5 x 3 andthe PS, 7 x 5 x 2 inches. Truthfully, I was surprised by your comment. Not that I doubt it; just surprised.-Hue The 6SN7GT dual triode (regen detect + audio amp) of the Walter Ashe Novice station used 150 VDC regulated. I found that little receiver to be MUCH better than the S-38 I borrowed when the 6SN7GT went dead and I didn't have the money to buy a replacement tube back in 1954. 73 de Mac, K2GKK/5Since 30 Nov 1953Oklahoma City, OKUSAF, Retired ('61-'81)FAA, Retired ('94-'10) ______________________________________________________________
