FWIW, transmitter BC-AH-230 is part of SCR-AH-183, SCR-AJ-183, and SCR-AK-183 (there is no AI model).
The *very first* 24 vdc set in the entire SCR-A*-183/283 series is SCR-AL-283. ALL earlier sets are 12 vdc, so there's nothing remarkable about there being no mention of the nonexistent BC-AG-430 or BC-AH-430 transmitters.
The failure to list the *first* existent 24 vdc unit, the BC-AL-430, was likely an oversight due perhaps to its novelty. Although both the SCR-AL-183 and SCR-AL-283 were made by Graybar Electric on 06-20-1939 order 19070-NY-39, it's possible that the SCR-AL-283 actually appeared a little later than the SCR-AL-183.
There's no real anomaly here.
Thanks for making the C-184 information available. The C-184 works with transmitters BC-AE-230 and later (except BC-AF-230, which used the similar C-182). The standard crystal frequency is 4495 kHz.
