AHA! That was just what I needed to know!
It's stuck fast.Tried cooling the metal part with cold spray, but that didn't help.I am hesitant to use any penetrating oil on it because it may react with the plastic.
Any suggestions?

I just got my cables with the PL-68 plugs to repair my "spare" T-17I need to remove the switch to wire this thing up.This is a different configuration that the SW-109
It has a thin knurled metal rim at the bottom of the button , from which i suspect that the top plastic button unscrews from.It's really tight or stuck or this is not the way it comes apart.
I figured it was time for some sage advise before I break it.
Anybody ever played with one of these?
