See Ebay Item 292039429494 for some pics that confirm your suspicion.

Subject: [ARC5] T-17 mike with a SW-217 PTT repair
I just got my cables with the PL-68 plugs to repair my "spare" T-17
I need to remove the switch to wire this thing up.
This is a different configuration that the SW-109
It has a thin knurled metal rim at the bottom of the button , from which i suspect that the top plastic button unscrews from.
It's really tight or stuck or this is not the way it comes apart.
I figured it was time for some sage advise before I break it.
Anybody ever played with one of these?
Jim
