Here is CBY-23154 Serial #2 Local Control Adaptor for RAT-1:

Note the serial number plate on these adaptors is mounted offset.
Early-Production 274N FT-260s also have the serial plate, but it is
centered at the bottom.
My NOs-74912 ATA/ARA Manual does not define a Local Control
Adapter drawer like the CBY-23154 or FT-260 for the ARA.
If anyone knows of one marked for ARA, we'd all like to see it.
The AN/ARC-5 equivalent is the C-24, which looks a bit different:

RAT, RAT-1 and RAV radios and accessories were built in limited numbers.
50 sets of RAT, 50 sets of RAT-1 and (reportedly) 48 sets of RAV were
produced.
A "set" includes all the radios and accessories supplied for a single
installation,
i.e. an RAT set would include a 13-20 receiver, a 20-27 receiver, two
dynamotors,
two remote control adaptors, two local control adaptors, one dual RX rack,
one shock mount and one remote control box, plus minor accessories.
So there were 50 13-20 radios, 50 20-27 radios, 100 dynamotors, 100
Local control adaptors, 50 racks and shocks, etc.
Each one of these major components was serial-numbered individually and
independently of the other parts. For instance:
RAT Set #1:
13-20 RX Serial #1, Adaptor Ser.#1, Dynamotor Ser.#1
(this was the only RAT radio with matching serial numbers).
20-27 RX Serial #1, Adaptor Ser.#2, Dynamotor Ser.#2
Dual Rack and Shock Ser.#1
Remote Control Box Ser. #1
RAT Set#2:
13-20 RX Serial #2, Adaptor Ser.#3, Dynamotor Ser.#3
20-27 RX Serial #2, Adaptor Ser.#4, Dynamotor Ser.#4
Dual Rack and Shock Ser.#2
Remote Control Box Ser. #2
And so on. While all of the Local Control Adaptors for these three
radio types (RAT, RAT-1, RAV) are marked "CBY-23154," they are
also marked for the specific set in which they were deployed, i.e.
CBY-23154, "A Unit of RAT-1 Equipment."
Therefore, there can only be 100 CBY-23154 marked for RAT-1,
100 CBY-23154 marked for RAT and (though God knows where
they went) 384 marked for RAV. (100 dynamotors for RAT,
50 racks for RAT-1, etc.).
Aside: I have only touched one piece of RAV- a dynamotor,
which I gave to a dear friend who deserves to have something
RAV for his collection. There is a rumor all the RAVs were dumped
In the Med and replaced by RAX. I think that quit possible.
