Hi Cliff

I would recommend performing the resistance checks per the manual.   It
takes less than 10 minutes and the manuals are readily available on the web
for free.

I'd also recommend replacing all the caps in the modulator:  C51, C53, C55,
and C57 can be replaced directly.   I chose to re-stuff C54 and C56 because
it was easy to do without it showing.

That's what I did with mine.
