No. C-30 is the 12A6 cathode bypass capacitor and is 15 MFD at 35 VDC. AGC was not 
included in the BC-455 receivers. AGC was added to later AN/ARC-5 and possibly ARA 
receivers. The change from the 12SK7 to a 12SF7 for the 2nd IF tube provided a diode for 
the AGC. This enabled AGC to be permanently in action, even with the BFO on.
