It is in the 2nd edition, beginning on page 59, as Phillip mentioned earlier.

No. It is a 6E5 in that article. The receiver is, literally, torn to shreds. The 
article is quite extensive. There is a push-pull 6V6 audio amp to follow what is 
left of the receiver. There is even a chart of the frequency response 
achieved. It gives me nightmares.

Yes, but that was an eariler article.

In fact, all three of the Surplus Conversion Manuals are available on the web.

No wonder so many of the BC band "ARC-5" receivers are total ruins... :-(
