[ARC5] Aging Electrolytics

I had to replace the HV cap in my HP606B. The output signal was
unstable which I traced to ripple to excessively high in the B+ ripple
voltage. Finding a replacement was a PITA. First just finding on that
would fit in the space of the one was hard. Second, HP floated this 2
or 3 section( I don't remember which) capacitor above ground so it had
to be insulated. Yes, I could have used several modern capacitors in
its place, but I didn't want to. I finally found a new manufacture can
at AES, but was a little larger in diameter than the old one. I had to
do a little metal work to make it fit, and then insulate the can. I am
glad it caught it before it failed.

There are two possible outcomes: if the result confirms the hypothesis, then you've made a measurement.
If the result is contrary to the hypothesis, then you've made a discovery.
