[ARC5] Question on receivers...

There are some differences in the front panel plug config between the ARC and the BCs . I guess you could check there to corroborate your suspicions?

A friend recently bought what was purported to be a modified BC-453B, yet 
today he told me that there is a 12SK7 in the socket labeled 12SF7.

If he is correct, I suspect that he has an R-23/ARC-5 with a BC-453 outer 
case on it.
