Hello Peter (and others)
I'm all for conserving our resources for the reason you (Peter) put
forward here - if we use too much bandwidth then we will kill the
service we all use.  

We (or at least I) live in a very affluent world.
I have clothes on my back, food in the cupboard and a roof over my
(pensioner's) head.  That's wealth!
It's worth remembering that some-one, somewhere pays - even for
apparently free services.

If I must ask some-one to send me a particular file, photo etc  to a
private e-mail address, then that's simply done.
