Todd,

Concur with you comments and observations, all.  They do work rather 
well but, as you say, they are arguably the most uncomfortable headsets 
one could find.  Do yours have metric threads on the adjustment 
thumbscrews and do you find that the quality of the cup molding is poor, 
too?  It'd be intersting to know if they're all like mine are.  The real 
commentary, though, may well be that they were, indeed, actual DLSA 
procured items, in spite of the lack of proper and usual markings on the 
packages.
