[ARC5] Extending the shaft on a tuning capacitor (Was parts needed)

  Wayne & the list,
I found 1/4 inch blue pneumatic hose (typically supplied by Festo)
slips nicely over the splines in the BC-45x sets.
A metal rod machined to the (internal) diameter of the hose provides a
method to transfer the force between the radio splines and a turning
  device.
In other words, I extended the shaft using a combination of pneumatic
tube and a 1/4 inch brass or aluminium extension.
Note: I've only used this with knobs, not with a cable.
