[ARC5] Whistle Stop Tiuning

I believe that the Type 12 ARC sets have Whistle Stop Tuning, which I think enabled you to tune to the receiver get right on the transmitter frequency by using the signal as a calibration aid.  Rather like the old ham trick of listening for your CW transmitter oscillator with your CW receiver to make sure both were on the same frequency.

But did the SCR-274-N, ATA, ARA, or ARC-5 sets potentially have that capability?  Perhaps not as a normal procedure but as a potential approach?
