I did as thorough research as I knew how in Washington in the 1970s 
without finding anything there, at Ft. Monmouth, Wright-Patterson or 
Boonton to tell the reasoning of the loop connection. Sadly the SigCorps 
files that were at the old Torpedo Factory in Alexandria have 
disappeared, probably shredded. A lot I saw at Main Navy over in 
Washington I know were shredded and of course those buildings have been 
torn down. I doubt any rational search would turn up anything.
