Many of these sets were exported.
I propose that the BCB loop connections were retained
for use by Russia and tertiary Allied powers
(South Amercia, Middle East, colonial Africa etc.)
who were still using loops and BCB signals.
"Homing" systems like the YG/ZB were "Secret,"
thus not available to them.
It's unlikely one of us can spend the time and money for a six-month
research trip to Washingtoon. After we are gone, no one else will.
Documentary proof of this is effectively lost to us.
For such issues, a well-reasoned theory may be all we ever have.
