Politicians are generally not interested in waste and fraud and such,
except as an election issue.

"... full of sound and fuyry, signifying nothing".

They simply do not give a damn about other peoples' money, especially if
it goes to those who vote for them. Look at the money squandered on GM,
Chrysler, or Solyndra.
