Dave:
I also would include the BC-1206 series of range receivers. Okay, Okay! So I like them! I have 4 in my collection, so I have to. Interest in them is what got me started in this junk.
And the RCA AVT and AVR HF sets were "commercial" in nature but were standard military equipment in L-3 and L-4 aircraft, before they realized the error of this and replaced them with BC-620's and BC-1335's and the like. Which brings up another issue. What about other standard "ground" sets that were used in aircraft? Although, other than maybe rumors about the TCS, I can't think of any others.
Also, what about radar? Such as APN-1 and APS-13, even if you do not include the search and gunlaying radars, which one is unlikely to encounter anway.
It would be useful to include a discussion of uses (such as what is liason, what is command, etc.) Some excerpts from pilot's manuals would be nice and I could you help with that.
