My first assignment in the USAF was at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center.   My boss had been there since the mid-50's.  He told me that back then a stroll down to the south end of Bldg 3001 where our offices were located would take you to the area where they were refurbing B-29's and B-50's, and they would give you a BC-348 to take with you.  Presumably the ART-13's were less attractive to SW listeners and so far fewer were hauled off by interested Federal employees.

Those were the days!
