I flew round trip on an old T-29 converted to C-131 function from Blytheville
AFB to Wright-Patterson AFB in August 1970. It was termed the "base commander's
utility" aircraft.

It still had the AN/ARC-8 installed, which appeared to complete and in good
condition. But it was not used in-flight. Maybe it never was anymore, by 1970.

I wonder what happened to that AN/ARC-8 gear.
