A really neat find, Bob. Looks like a pretty clean job overall.
Basically a small time capsule of amateur SSB built from a then-common
piece of surplus and representative of how the typical ham might climb
the technology ladder without $250 riceboxes on every corner.
It'll be interesting to hear how it works when you get it on the air.
TNX for sharing, and sorry to hear you couldn't sell your golden ugly
duckling at the 'fest. :D
