Déjà vu!

1967, NAS Corpus Christi, TX Training Squadron 28 (VT-28).

TS-2A and a few US-2Bs (Use To Bees). Had to get a radio check with the duty officer on HF prior to taxi. Once we got airborne and out of sight of the hangar, no more HF comms, just noise! Fun times!

Always wanted one!

I can vouch personally for the AN/ARC-2 being on TS-2A Tracker
aircraft, a legacy from earlier active service as anti-submarine
carrier-based aircraft. Both TS-2A aircraft that I flew on in
1971 and 1972 still had the AN/ARC-2 on board.
