[ARC5] ARC-2 1625 vs 807

Hmmm....my first one must have been modified then: it had 807s in it. I 
remember being very surprised to find those in it. I was about 20 then. Now I 
am 68.

I have not yet opened up my "new" one, and I don't yet have a manual.

OK, Mike, you're obviously the expert on these matters...

I suppose the F6F-5 must have been somewhat unusual to need to carry an 
ARC-2: I cannot figure out why a pilot would want to operate this behemoth 
even with a control box.

Also, another few questions: to whom would he talk with it? Maybe ground 
forces? Where would it be mounted in that fighter? Behind the pilot? Why 
only in the F6F-5 model and not some other models of the F6F? Special 
purpose? If so, what special purpose?
