[ARC5] More ARC-5 Questions

Dial Material:

There are Aluminum and Bakelite dials for the receivers, transmitters, and
control boxes, but from the distance of a half century it's hard to tell
if they were used interchangably or what.

Was one dial material used on the ARC-5 gear and the other on the
SCR-274-N sets or what?

Paint:

Has anybody tried (successfully) to restore the chipped blue paint on the
ARC-5 name plates? What paint did you use and how?
