Never look to the masses of men to validate what is good
or important. 98% of humanity will go from womb to tomb,
expending resources and contributing nothing but senseless babble
and excrement. They are dust- noise in the universe's equation.
"Cast not your pearls before swine," the Master said.
Give your efforts to the "two percenters" and disdain the rest.

I contribute to worthy groups that are doing restorations,
but I don't give to so-called "museums,"
most of which have degenerated from places of research
into doomed ego-driven attempts at mass entertainment.
Your stuff will go in a box in a dark corner and
stay there until the so-called "curator" dies and
the estate handlers throw it in the dumpster,
or the place goes bankrupt
and the liquidators throw it in the dumpster.

Test and try any young person who tells you they're "interested."
Nearly all are dillettante and will fall away
with the next video game release or television season.
If we are lucky, we will find one or two
who will actually carry the flame forward.
If not, we'll just have to trust in the record books
He has promised to open at the end of Time.
