[ARC5] Modern Version of the ARC-5 Manual?

Hi:

I've just downloaded the ARC-5 manual from the link provided by Ken Gordon
W7EKB in the previous post, i.e.:
http://www.mines.uidaho.edu/~glowbugs/arc5pages.htm
It's now 354 pages and weighs in at over 30 MB. i.e. it's very hard to do
anything with the .pdf version as it is.

I've done a lot of .pdf manual reworking using Acrobat 9 Pro & Photoshop so
think this manual would be much better if navigation links were added to it and
the photos were replaced with high resolution color versions. For more on
making .pdf documents and Navigation inside them see my web page:
http://www.prc68.com/I/Mpdf.shtml#Nav

I'm thinking about doing this and selling the upgraded manual on CD (it would
be way too big with the color photos to be a download) for a nominal price.

But first I'd like to get a feel if anyone is interested and if there are a few
people who have the equipment shown in the manual that can supply the photos in
the same pose as the existing figures. There also may be a need for new poses,
tbd.
