That writer is considering repeaters as instruments set up by ham clubs.
IE 146.82/22 on a 100' Rohn 45.  I agree that not even the wild bunch
would have considered setting one of these up in Brechtesgarden mall.

The ARC-10, etc. relay is in an airplane 'way up & 'way far away.  & it's
a deal where input ~100mhz to antenna in rear & TX ~150mhz from antenna
in nose.  No duplexer cavities.
