Coax seal is a poor product for sealing coax connections. It's sticky
and leaves a nasty residue if you ever have to take the connection
apart. I really dislike ever using it. A MUCH better way to do it is
to use self fusing rubber splicing tape and good quality Scotch Super
33+ electrical tape. Speaking of electrical tape.....NEVER stretch it
when applying and use a scissors or knife to cut it.
Dx-Engineering has an excellent document on how to use these products. See:

Incidentally, DX-Engineering sells these products but they are also
available locally at any good electrical supply store or maybe one of
the big-box stores if you're lucky.
