[Antennas] Radial Wires VS a wire or screen mesh

I have 8 of them from each vertical.  There are of course 2 that are shared
that just connect the bases of the 4 verticals, so I count them twice.  And
the one going to the center is shorter than ¼ wave, but the rest are all ¼
wave.

And  how many actual wires?  full sized?  IE: "Tuned"?

and from things I have read,, something like yours with a system of raised
like you have with as few as like 4 or 8 equal a ground mounted that has
like the conventional 120.

The contest station with the chicken-wire ground system for its 160
antennas is always near the top of the multi-multi category in major DX
contests and manages to rack up lots of Qs on 160 meters. So, while the
chicken wire might not be optimal, it works in the real world and, in
the end, that's all that really counts.
