[Antennas] anyone have experience with the HyGain DIS-71?

All the commentary about inverted Vee's is all true, but a wire dipole hung 
from a tower need not be an inverted Vee, indeed it may be as horizontal and 
nearly as high as the rotatable dipole.  It all depends on what is available 
for support.  Remember, a 40M or 30M dipole is not very long.  A good wire 
dipole will certainly work about as well as the rotatable one, but will not 
have the advantage of nulling off the end.  (well, hardly ever)
