Now wait just a minute!
A 'short folded dipole' ? What does that mean?
A 'folded dipole' is the SAME length as a 'dipole' .. 1/2-wavelength.
[for 80m about 135 feet max.]
I have two tower bases right now .. 140 feet apart .. allowing for an
80m dipole ['regular' OR 'folded'] broadside on Europe, .. or a LPDA
array pointed at JA, should I wish it.
I vote for 140 feet separation .. why compromise when you can have the
whole thing?
