Paul I have seen this as an intentional set up .. where a fellow used the
push on style connectors .. I don't support these in much of any
applications.. but they do seem pretty hard to " push on " and the fellow
just took his Dremil tool and ground away the better part of the outside
threads of all his 239 connectors..  seemed like a pretty severe thing to do
just so he could use the push on style 259s  .. anyhow another thought..
