For lightning protection you should also consider this:
If you install several different "ground" connections at a site
there is the probability that large potential differences could be
induced between these separate grounds in the event of a direct, or even
close, lightning strike.
Not for RF, but for lightning protection, there should be only one
"real good" ground to which all equipments at the site are connected by
means of the lowest impedance conductor you can afford. For this purpose
flat copper or aluminum strip laid directly on the ground is ideal.
