If you're talking about a HyGain BN-86 Balun ... well, they've been
known to BLOW UP .. happened to mine once on a 15m 5-el at 75' .. and NO
EASY WAY to get to the feedpoint!  
If you decide to use that balun [it's 1:1], you MUST be sure NOT to put
too much RF into it .. and you MUST NOT put the wrong transmit frequency
into it, either!
