I have only been a Ham for jhust over a year now, but I have bought all my
antennas from a little place in Bloomington Illinois.
The guy that owns the place is a fellow ham, and does mostly commercial
work, but I have sent all my radios in to him for "check ups". Craig, the
owner is a real straight shooter, and I would place any of my radios in his
care without a second thought.
Kind of nice to remember the "little guy" even if we still are buying stuff
from the "big guys"
If anyone is interested, his website is http://www.twincitycomm.com
has a 800 # on it and the guy will answer questions, I should know, getting
ready to ship an alinco to him for repair, just bought it off ebay, have
called him 5 times in the last 2 days.
My Moto... Deal with the little guy, and let him deal with the big guy.
Forget about cushcraft, or any of the others customer support and give craig
a call!!
