[AMRadio] Have you ever tried SDR?

And my BOATANCHORS help heat my RETIREMENT CLOSET in the winter!
I am thinking a SDR may reduce the heat in the summer!
I really do hate modern radios with small displays and multiple function
buttons. I have to keep the manuals near them for reference. And then they
are still hard to use.
With the exception of my Kenwood TS-520 all the other RICEBOXES are VHF FM
units. And they do serve their purpose.
I don't need a book for the TS-520.
