HF Linear Amplifiers For Sale:
Amp Supply LK-500 Z A, HF Amplifier:
The LK-500 is an HF amp that runs a pair of 3-500 tubes, on
the 160 thru 10 meter bands, producing close to the legal
limit. On this amp, 30 watts of drive produces about 400
watts out of the amp; 50 watts gives about 650 Watts out;
etc.
This amp has a MUCH heavier duty Peter Dahl power transformer,
and covers 160 meters. It has a excellent tuned input matching
circuit. It is a superior amplifier.
This particular amp works very well. It has a manual step
start circuit added, and the electrolytic capacitors have
been replaced. Cosmetically it looks very, very nice. I
can not find a scratch on it. It looks like new.
Since this is heavy, I would much prefer pickup in the
Ocala, FL area.
With paper work for $900.
Ameritron AL-572, HF Amplifier:
Ameritron's new class of Near Legal Limit Amplifiers give
you nearly full legal SSB power output for a much lower
price. You get 1300 Watts PEP SSB nominal power out on
amateur bands 160-15M.
Two lighted Cross-Needle Meters
Grid current, plate current and forward PEP output power
are continuously monitored to tell you of proper loading
and alert you to abnormal conditions. A fourth scale switches
among peak reflected power (and SWR), high voltage, ALC
threshold and ALC output voltage.
It has a transmit LED, 12 VDC, 200 mA accessory jack,
and 12 VDC keying relay for solid state/tube rigs.
It draws 16 amps at 120 VAC, but can also be used on
240 V AC.
Features:
Instantaneous RF Bias
Step-Start Inrush Protection
Heavy duty power supply
Pi/Pi-L network
Tuned input
Dual lighted Cross-Needle meters
6:1 vernier reduction drives
Four rugged 572 B Tubes
This particular amp is in extremely nice condition
both cosmetically and electrically. Everything works
100% and it looks very close to new.
Paper work included for $900.
TenTec Hercules II 420 HF Amplifier:
This is a fully solid state all-mode HF linear
amplifier covering 1.8 to 30 MHz continuously.
It requires 13.6 VDC at 100 A max. Drive power
is 50 to 80 W typical for 550 W output. Maximum
Power output on SSB/CW/RTTY is 550 W DC at 50%
duty cycle.
This amp features full QSK break in CW. It can
be remote controlled (bands switched remotely)
from many transceivers.
This particular amplifier looks extremely nice.
I can not find a scratch on it. Electrically, I
think all works fine. It requires a 13 V DC power
supply in the 80 to 100 amp category. I only have
a 35 amp supply to test it with. As a result, I
only get 250 watts out of it before the power supply
over current limit kicks off. But all of the QSK
and everything works fine, as long as I keep it low
enough for the power supply I have.
With paper work for $900.
Heath SB-200 HF Linear Amplifier:
The SB-200 uses a pair of 572B tubes, and operates
on 80 thru 10 meters. It may be used on SSB, CW,
or digital modes.
This particular amplifier puts out about 750 watts
on 20 meters, and has been tested for operation on
all bands.
Cosmetically, it is in extremely nice condition.
I can not find a scratch on it.
Paper work is included for $475.
In all cases, pick up of the amplifier is first choice.
The amplifiers are heavy and hard to ship. I am located
near Ocala FL, not far off of I-75.
Obviously, if it necessary to ship, the cost is not
included in the prices listed.
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, various transceivers,
HF and VHF/UHF antennas, etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
