[AMRadio] Non Commercial, non Ham AM Radio station?

Yeah, what he said about hours of operation. The FCC doesn't care if you make a profit or not, they just take the view that stations are there to serve the public interest and if they grant you a license you better be able
to demonstrate that you are by having a public affairs / issues section in the public file that you are required to maintain. You also have to provide proof of compliance with EEOC laws and ownership forms etc. etc. etc. and have to have I believe, at least two employees with real salaries.
There's just a whole lot of details that make owning and operating a station a pain in the nether regions. For example, you can be busted big time for not making the afore mentioned Public File available on short notice to anyone who walks in the door and asks to see it........
