A very noble thought. From a previous comment:

Yes, this is absolutely true, and if it was the 1950's on into the 70's, you might actually be able to convince someone that is unintentionally doing something wrong, how to do it right.  Not today though, even the mildest of comments will release a carpet bomb run of 'F' bombs.

The ARRL had a little pamphlet called 'Your Novice Accent', and I always thought it was a great primer.  It should be made available again considering all the folks I hear calling CQ on CW and end with KN, along with a ton of other things folks do today that at one point in time were a sign of a poor op.
