[AMRadio] Ranger w/D104 Mic

The Ranger probably doesn't need the preamp if the mic has one in the
base.  you could bypass that I think.  Is the preamp powered by a
battery?  Check the battery if it is.  Connect the audio leads from
the mic to a vertical input to an oscilloscope and adjust the v/div to
a low voltage and see if there's an audio signal on the scope trace.
That's one way to test a D104, at least it works with a high Z xtal or
ceramic element straight through.  never dealt with one of those
amplified D104s but worth a try.
