I agree, Mel. Y'all just may have solved my problems. Thanks! Rick I like the idea of changing the bolts. Here is what I would do. Remove the bolts after getting the mod warm, saturate the laminates then quickly put back the new hardware so that the laminates are squeezed and the varnish should migrate better into the laminates.
